A vacation rental listing has one job: help a group picture their week there before they book. Photos show the rooms. A walkthrough video shows how the whole house fits together: where the bedrooms are, how the kitchen opens to the living room, and what it looks like out by the pool once the sun goes down.
We recently filmed and photographed Seabreak Shores, a 5-bedroom vacation rental in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Here is the finished tour.

What a vacation rental video needs to show
A buyer walking through a listing video is thinking about living there. A guest watching a rental tour is thinking about one week, with everyone they are bringing. So the film is planned around the questions a group organizer actually has:
- Will everyone fit? Show every bedroom, so guests can count beds and work out who sleeps where.
- Where does the group spend the day? Give the pool, the fire pit and the game room the most screen time, because that is what sells a group stay.
- How does the house flow? Moving from room to room on camera shows the layout in a way a photo gallery cannot.
- How far is the beach? Put the drive times in the description, and drone aerials can show the neighbourhood and the water.
Where the video gets used
One shoot gives the owner a full walkthrough film for YouTube and their direct-booking site, and the same footage can be cut into shorter clips for Instagram and Facebook. The same visit also covered the listing photography, so the video and the photo gallery match.
